MLB Future Watch: Jackson Holliday Baseball Cards, Baltimore OriolesMLB Future Watch: Jackson Holliday Baseball Cards, Baltimore Orioles – Jackson Holliday was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles with the first overall pick in the 2022 MLB Amateur Draft. The power hitter first starred at Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma. In 2021, his junior year, and he hit .500 with six home runs and 50 RBI. He was named Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year.

Unlike his father, Matt, who was a major league outfielder for many years, Jackson plays second base and shortstop. In his senior year, he hit an absurd .685 with 17 home runs and 79 RBI. His 89 hits topped J.T. Realmuto’s national record of 88. He won an ACBA Rawlings Gold Glove Award too.

In 2022, he played Rookie-Ball, and ended the season in Single-A with the Delmarva Shorebirds. He went 1-3 with a stolen base in his first professional game. His combined numbers were 5 doubles, 1 home run, 9 RBI, 4 steals, and a .297 batting average. His .489 on-base percentage was very good.

2023 was a whirlwind for the Orioles top prospect. He started the year in Delmarva and then moved up the ladder playing for three more teams. He ended the season with the Norfolk Tides in AAA. Holliday hit 30 doubles, 9 home runs, 12 home runs, and 75 RBI in 125 games. He was so dominant that he walked 101 times! He hit .323 with 113 runs scored, 24 steals, and a .442 on-base percentage. He’s on the fast track to making a talented Orioles roster this upcoming season.

Holliday has fast hands and a level swing. He can sit back on a ball and get a last-second hit or jump on a pitch and drive it. His power will improve, and his speed is a weapon, especially down the first base line since he bats left.

MLB Future Watch: Jackson Holliday Cards Worth Chasing

One card to get is Holliday’s 2023 Bowman Draft Chrome Refractor. The card has a great photo showing him in the batter’s box. You can see him putting weight on his back foot getting ready to clobber the next pitch.

Another card is his 2023 Bowman Platinum Ice Foil. It’s a fun card that shows him having fun, and that’s cool.

One last card to get is his 2022 Leaf Prized Rookie. It’s a card that has a nice photo of him batting in his minor-league gear.
