MLB Future Watch: Wyatt Langford Baseball Cards, Texas RangersMLB Future Watch: Wyatt Langford Baseball Cards, Texas Rangers – Wyatt Langford was drafted by the Texas Rangers with the fourth overall pick in the 2023 MLB Amateur Draft. He was a three-sport star playing baseball, football, and basketball at Trenton High School in Florida. His highlight was winning the 2019 Perfect Game National Home Run Derby. Then he committed to the University of Florida to play baseball.

2021, his freshman season, was tough. He only got four at-bats with one hit as a pinch hitter. That summer he played for Charlottesville Tom Sox in the Valley Baseball League. He hit .346 with 3 home runs and 20 RBI with a .459 on-base percentage and a .527 slugging percentage. He salvaged his season with that play.

In 2022, the outfielder started in all 66 games. Langford hit 26 home runs with 63 RBI. He hit .346 with a .447 on-base percentage and a .719 slugging percentage.

2023 was a banner season. He hit a whopping .373! He had 21 home runs with 57 RBI and 9 steals with a .498 on-base percentage and an incredible .784 slugging percentage. Langford entered the MLB Draft with a chance to be the first overall selection. He was a unanimous First Team All-American and was named to the 2023 College World Series All-Tournament Team.

In spring training, he was 6 for 17 in his first 6 games. Langford hit 3 home runs with 7 RBI and 5 runs scored with a .353 batting average and a .450 on-base percentage.

MLB Future Watch: Wyatt Langford Baseball Cards, Texas RangersHe might not make the team, but he is one of the best young players to collect. There’s lightning in his bat. He can hit to all fields. A ball around the plate can be slugged out of the park. His speed is good as well.

The first card to get is Langford’s 2023 1st Bowman Chrome Sky Blue card that makes a nice color match with the Rangers’ blue. Langford is shown hitting, which is always good.

Another fun card is his 2022 Future Stars USA Baseball Card. It shows him in that classic USA jersey, and he looks like he’s admiring a home run in the photo.

The last card to look at is his 2023 Bowman’s Best. The design is wild, and once again the photo is an action shot. There will be a lot more cards of this future star this season.
