NBA Future Watch: Brice Sensabaugh Basketball Cards, Utah Jazz – Brice Sensabaugh is a combo forward with a growing offensive game who is making a strong case to be a part of Utah’s next playoff run. Nobody should be against him, because Sensabaugh has already proven during his career his ability to overcome adversity.
Growing up in Orlando, Sensabaugh led Lake Highland Preparatory School in scoring in his sophomore year before missing the next one with a meniscus injury. He bounced back to the tune of 25.1 PPG, 7.2 RPG and 1.5 APG and a state semifinal berth as a senior. Sensabaugh was named Florida Mr. Basketball and Florida’s Gatorade Player of the Year. He also averaged 17.9 PPG in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League. A four-star recruit, Sensabaugh sorted through a number of scholarship offers before choosing Ohio State. Just down the road from his future school in the summer before he enrolled, Sensabaugh averaged 51 PPG in the Kingdom Summer League.
Nevertheless, Sensabaugh had to earn his way into a starting spot for the Buckeyes. He did – and in a program that doesn’t always provide the most opportunities for freshman. He became the first one in eight years to lead the team in scoring. Sensabaugh also played his way into elite company by joining such luminaries as Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and Lauri Markkanen by posting 15 PPG, .500 2%, .400 3% and .800 FT%.
Landing in Utah with the 28th pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, Sensabaugh has spent the most consequential part of his season with the Salt Lake Stars in the G League, posting 19.5 PPG, 4.9 RPG and 1.3 SPG. As the Jazz absorb the reality that they are in a definite rebuild, Sensabaugh and other younger players will gain increased playing time. The offensive upside that Sensabaugh presents is custom-made for today’s NBA. That indicates that he could be the next iconic player in a Utah jersey.
Sensabaugh’s cards date back to 2022 with the Bowman University versions during his Buckeye career. Subsequently, Panini, Donruss, Hoops, and Upper Deck are represented among the cards and stickers with numerous parallels and inserts. Hoops memorabilia is also available, some with autographs.
