NFL Future Watch: Justyn Ross Football Cards, Kansas City Chiefs – Justyn Ross is a 6’4” wide receiver who has a lot of talent and speed. For of a variety of reasons, he went undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. If you follow his story, you’ll see why he’s still a member of the Chiefs and why they still have high hopes for him.
Ross first starred at Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama. As a senior, he caught 37 passes for 730 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was listed as a four-star recruit and had Alabama, Clemson, Auburn, and Duke all vying for his services. Ross chose Clemson.
In 2018, his freshman season, Ross had 46 catches for 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns. Ross helped his team win the title in the 2019 College Football National Championship against Alabama. He had six receptions for 153 yards and a touchdown in the big game.
As a sophomore in 2019, he had a team-high 66 receptions for 865 yards and eight touchdowns. In the ACC Championship Game, Ross had three catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. Ross was an Honorable Mention All-ACC selection.
Ross missed the entire 2020 season with a congenital fusion condition in his neck and spine. It required surgery, and he got a medical redshirt status.
2021 was his redshirt junior season. Ross led the team with 47 receptions and 524 yards and three touchdowns in just ten games. Ross finished his Clemson career ranked fifth all-time in career receiving touchdowns with 20. That January, he announced he was ready for the NFL Draft.
Ross’s pre-draft measurables were impressive. He ran a 4.64 in the 40-yard dash, had a 31.5” vertical, a 9’6” broad jump and 11 reps on the weight bench. He is an athlete with good hands who runs great routes.
An off-season foot surgery kept Ross out of the 2022 season. He was placed on the IR, and the hope was that he would have a big impact next year. For now, he will watch the Chiefs play the Super Bowl like the rest of us.

Also look for his 2022 Leaf Metal Draft Pink Wave Parallel. It’s a card that stands out.
