NFL Future Watch: Tank Dell Football Cards, Houston Texans – Nathaniel Tank Dell was drafted by the Houston Texans in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft. The talented wide receiver first got noticed at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. His college path wasn’t smooth. He first committed to the Florida International University. Then he decided on Alabama A&M.
At Alabama A&M, Dell had 12 receptions for 364 yards and three touchdowns. That was a good season, but he transferred to Independence Community College in search of more playing time. In his season there, he had 52 receptions for 766 yards and eight touchdowns. He then transferred to the University of Houston in 2020. In Houston, he led his team with 29 receptions for 428 yards with three touchdowns. He played in all eight games in a pandemic shortened season.
In 2021, he played in 14 games and had a great season. He caught 90 passes for 1,329 yards and 12 touchdowns. Then he was named to the First-Team All-AAC.
Dell came back in 2022 for his allowed fifth season. In 13 games, he had an amazing 109 receptions for 1,398 yards and 17 touchdowns. He averaged 12.8 yards per catch and was ready for the NFL Combine.
At the Combine, he ran a nice 4.49 in the 40-yard dash. He also had a 10’1” showing in the broad jump. Teams wanted him after this performance coupled with a solid season.
He’s under 5’9” but he can fly. He gets open and runs routes beyond the sticks. In a game against the Jaguars, he averaged 29 yards per catch for 145 yards. That yardage set a rookie record for the Texans! Talk about having an impact in his rookie season.
NFL Future Watch: Tank Dell Cards Worth Collecting
One card to get is Dell’s 2023 Panini Gold Standard Rookie. The card has that nice gold background and he’s in his Texans gear. The card is numbered to just 30 which is part of the fun of the chase.
His 2022 Bowman University card is desirable. He’s pictured in his Houston gear and the photo is an action shot we all like.
One last card is his 2023 Panini Select Draft silver autograph card. This card has everything. It has a nice looking, legible autograph with an action shot from his NCAA days. Start collecting this player because he has a chance to be special.
