York VictoryNHL Future Watch: Cam York Hockey Cards, Philadelphia Flyers – Cameron York was drafted 14th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2019 NHL Draft. This defenseman is just under six feet, but the Flyers didn’t fear that because of everything else he brings to the rink.

After graduating from Shattuck St. Mary’s, York joined the NTDP. In 2017 and 2018, he played for the U17 and U18 teams. Later that season, York represented his country once again in the U18s. He had six points in seven games. He was voted a Top Three Player on his team and a tournament All-Star. He took home a silver medal.

In 2018-19, this rearguard played with players like Jack Hughes and Trevor Zegras, and he put up some massive points. His season total was 65 points, an NTDP record. In his two years there, York had 103 points, making him just the second defenseman all-time to reach 100 points in NTDP history.

York committed to Michigan University. In 2019-20, the freshman had 16 points in 30 games. He played in the U20 World Junior Championship that season as well. At the end of the college season, York was voted on the Big 10 All-Rookie Team.

In 2020-21, his sophomore season at Michigan, he scored 20 points in 24 games. During that season he played in his second World Junior Championships, where he scored six points in seven games walking away with a gold medal.

To date, York has been up and down with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the AHL and the Flyers. When Covid ran through the team during the 2021-22 season, he started to get a chance to play some solid hockey. York will be a terrific player, scorer, and a must collect.

Collectors should first look at his 2021-22 Upper Deck MVP Hockey Rookie Card. The picture shows him in action, getting ready to go up ice and try and make something happen. That’s what he does.

A tougher one to get is York’s 2021-22 Upper Deck Victory Rookie Card. It was from a set at the Fall Expo, and the all-black background makes the orange in the uniform stand out.

The last one to get would be his 2021-22 Upper Deck MVP Hockey Silver Scripts Rookie Card. The facsimile signature is very clean, and while fans are waiting for his autographed rookie cards to drop this one would go a long way in satisfying his fan base.
