NHL Future Watch: Mason McTavish Hockey Cards, Anaheim Ducks Mason McTavish was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks with the third overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft. Born in Switzerland, although he’s Canadian, this 6-foot-2 center is the complete package. It won’t be long until collectors have him near the top of their want lists.

Mason Mctavish Hockey CardsFor part of the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, McTavish played for the Pembroke Lumber Kings and the coach was his father, Dale, who played for a brief time in the NHL. In his full season, he scored 47 goals in 41 games.

In 2019-20, he scored 29 goals and had 42 points in 57 games for the Peterborough Petes. That was a good season. The best was yet to come… until the pandemic hit.

Going back to his roots, McTavish played in Switzerland. Playing in a men’s league. He played in 13 games and scored nine goals and had 11 points during the regular season. The center added seven points in four games. McTavish also captained Team Canada in the U18s. He scored five goals and had 11 points in seven games. McTavish won a gold medal and was voted a Top-3 player on his team.

McTavish can beat you with his one-timer or score down low. That’s why he got a chance to play for the Anaheim Ducks in 2021-22. He had two goals and three points in nine games. He also played for the San Diego Gulls in the AHL, as well as the Petes and the Hamilton Bulldogs in the OHL. His 16 goals and 29 points in 19 OHL games were his swan song. With all of this going on, McTavish played for Team Canada in the Olympics where he had a point in five games.

McTavish is NHL ready. And, next year, he will get every opportunity to play full-time in the best league in the world.

NHL Future Watch: Mason McTavish Hockey Cards Worth Chasing

The first card you’ll want to get of McTavish is his 2021-22 Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns rookie card. It’s a nice card showing him in warmups.

Another card is his 2021-22 Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns Canvas. This card shows him postgame holding up a puck for his first NHL goal. That’s a great card!

One last card could be his 2021-22 Upper Deck Series 2 O-Pee-Chee Retro Update rookie card. This card shows off his massive head of hair and beard. How many rookies can grow a beard like that?

Don’t miss out on him.
