Off the Post: Flyers Defeat Hurricanes on Thursday, Sebastian Aho and Shayne Gostisbehere Post Game Comments – On Thursday evening, the Carolina Hurricanes stormed into Philadelphia looking for a win. They started strong, scoring two goals in the first period. The would give up a game tying goal in the second, and two more in the third period to finish with a 3-4 loss. Sebastian Aho of the Hurricanes and Shayne Gostisbehere spoke with Russ Cohen after the game.

The Finnish Aho stormed into the league in the 2016-17 season. He became the youngest player in Hurricanes/Whalers history to score a hat trick when he did it against the Flyers on January 31st, 2017.  In 82 games, he scored 49 points with 24 goals and 25 assists. This season he’s been better, scoring 65 points with 29 goals and 36 assists. You can find his rookie cards in a number of 2016-17 Upper Deck Hockey products including O-Pee-Chee. His young guns rookie card appears in 2016-17 Series 1.

Collectors will also find Sebastian Aho cards among the 2017-18 Upper Deck Hockey catalog of products. The recently released O-Pee-Chee Platinum contains quite a few numbered parallels, and he has some great photographs in Series 2.

Shayne Gostisbehere was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the third round (78th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. You can find his rookie cards in 2014-15 Upper Deck Hockey products like O-Pee-Chee and Series 2. Gostisbehere got a quick cup of coffee in 2014-15, but made his proper Flyers debut in 2015-16 when he played in 64 games. He scored 46 points with 29 assists and 17 goals. This season, he’s scored 64 points with 51 assists and 13 goals.
