The Ottowa, Ontario native was drafted by the St. Louis Blues with the 9th overall pick in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. A hard-nosed, gritty center who played both ends of the ice, was a force to be reckoned with throughout his NHL career. When he retired in 2010, he ranked 18th all-time in NHL games played with 1,484. Brind’Amour’s rookie cards can be found in sets released in 1990-91. He has several including RCs in Score, O-Pee-Chee, Bowman and Upper Deck.

He would become a Stanley Cup Champion in 2006 when he helped the Hurricanes defeat the Edmonton Oilers. In 2018, he was named the head coach of the team he captained to the Stanley Cup. During his tenure, he’s accrued a record of 82-46-29. As a fan favorite, Brind’Amour continues to have cards produced to this day in 2019-20 Upper Deck Hockey products including Artifacts and O-Pee-Chee to name a few.
