NFL Five Trading Card Game – The NFL Five TCG allows you to construct your own fantasy dream team and compete against other player’s decks – fusing a traditional TCG gameplay experience with Panini’s iconic NFL trading cards! Aside from fielding your favorite Players, you’ll also call Plays by placing them facedown (along with your opponent choosing a defense). Successful plays will gain yardage (tracked on the football field play-mat!), which can then be modified by Player abilities and Action cards. Plays also take time off the clock, which can be managed with timeouts. After two halves of play, the highest score wins the game!

Starter Deck Configuration*: 8 boxes/10 Decks/50 base cards + 5 foil parallels + 2 punch-out game play cards + 1 rulebook + 1 playmat

* Six different starter decks, each with a different selection of plays and players. ALL cards that are in the starters are EXCLUSIVE and can NOT be found in the boosters.

2019 NFL Five Trading Card Game – Game Play OVERVIEW

  • Unlike previous sports TCGs, the NFL Five game brings traditional trading card elements to the gridiron. Field your best 10 players (5 offense and 5 defense) and battle it out with your opponent to see who can score the most points.
  • Move up and down the field by calling plays face-down. After each player has called a play, reveal them and determine if the play was successful or stopped (stopped if the defense calls the exact same play as the offense).
  • Once a play is successful, you can use player abilities and other card effects before gaining yardage.
  • Each play takes time off the clock until it reaches 0, which ends the half. Play two halves of football and the winner is the player that scored the most points!
