Product Rewind: 2014 Upper Deck Exquisite Golf Trading Cards – The legendary rise and subsequent karmic fall of Tiger Woods has been one of the most compelling sports stories of the last five years. In the early part of his career the young prodigy was on pace to break Jack Nicklaus’ record for PGA major tournament wins of 18 by the time he was 30-years old. Tiger Woods won his 14th, and last, major golf title at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course on June 16, 2008. Now 42, it has been over four years since Woods has won a PGA tournament of any kind.
However, this past weekend at the Valspar Championship, Woods gave fans reason to hope that golf’s prodigal son has returned. worse time. Yes it does feature rookie cards of golf’s latest darling, Rory McIlroy, but it was also publicized as containing . . . . “the Most Extensive Selection of Super-Premium Tiger Woods Signatures ever offered in one product.” Unfortunately, by this point, even the most avid Tiger supporters were having their doubts about the future of his professional golf career. As a result, the product didn’t perform as well as Upper Deck had hoped.
Fortunately for collectors, there are still sufficient quantities of this premium product available. An now may be the perfect time to revisit this truly impressive set.

With an SRP that fluctuates between $200-$300, 2014 Upper Deck Exquisite Golf delivers a hole in one. The set comes packaged in a collectible tin and yields five autographed cards and one rookie card. In addition to the aforementioned rookie cards of Rory McIlroy, Tiger’s niece, Cheyenne is also featured in the product as is LPGA tour favorite Michelle Wie.
Despite strong rookie content however, 2014 Upper Deck Exquisite Golf is really all about Tiger Woods and other legendary greats including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Ben Crenshaw, Fred Couples, Ernie Els and others. The product even features dual autographs of Tiger Woods paired with another legend. Not of the links, but of the hardwood, in fellow Upper Deck spokesman, Michael Jordan. Other Tiger dual autographs pair him with Nicklaus, McIlroy, and his niece to name a few.
In addition, a number of highly coveted, triple autographed cards are included in the set. One of the most desirable and prestigious being the one pictured here that features signatures of Tiger Woods alongside those of Michael Jordan and rookie, Rory McIlroy.
2014 Upper Deck Exquisite Golf also includes several premium booklet cards. They are quite easily some of the most beautiful cards ever produced for the sport and command top dollar on the secondary market.
