Racing Future Watch: Jehan Daruvala Racing Cards, Formula E – Jehan Daruvala is establishing himself as one of the premier rising athletes on all the Indian subcontinent. One of the winners of the “One in a Billion Hunt” organized by the Force India F1 team in 2011, Daruvala continues to fulfill the potential identified in him then.
2011 was also the year that Daruvala began his karting career. By the next year, he had won the Asia-Pacific Championship and took home the Super 1 National Championship in 2013.
Next up was the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in 2015 when Daruvala scored three podiums while guesting in the Alps series. Prior to his 2016 season, Daruvala raced in the Toyota Racing Series. There, he garnered three wins and three podiums en route to a second-place overall finish. Back in Eurocup, Daruvala progressed through the first three races: a pole, a podium and a win. Daruvala placed ninth for the year.
In 2017, Daruvala moved to the European Formula 3 Championship and finished sixth. A third place standing in the 2019 FIA Formula 3 Championship paved the way for Daruvala to move up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship. There, his highest finish has been seventh in 2021. That same year, Daruvala placed third in the F3 Asian Championship.
Daruvala made his debut on the Formula E World Championship in 2024 as he joins the highest circuit of competition for electric open-wheel cars. As Daruvala continues his journey to become only the third Indian Formula 1 driver ever, he carries with him the hopes and dreams of his country and its expatriates. Their faith in Daruvala is based on his journey, which has been the most successful climb up the ladder that any Indian driver has had to this point.
Daruvala’s cards and stickers date back to 2020, with Topps issuing a wide array. There are many parallels and inserts available. A great degree of memorabilia exists, much with autographs.
