Soccer Future Watch: Declan Rice Soccer Cards, Arsenal – Declan Rice joined Arsenal in 2023 as one of the most expensive transfers in history. That, after establishing himself at a young age as one of the dominant defensive midfielders of his generation. Having started with the Chelsea FC Development Squad at age seven, Rice moved on to the Academy of West Ham United FC in 2013. That provided the opportunity to advance to the senior team in 2015. He’s distinguished himself in UEFA Euro 2020 and 2022 FIFA World Cup play. An athletic midfielder and skilled tackler capable of scoring goals from range, Rice is still on the upward trajectory of his career. The elite passing skills alone that Rice possesses render him one of the most desired commodities in the soccer world.
