Soccer Future Watch: Leroy Sane Soccer Cards, Bayern MunichSoccer Future Watch: Leroy Sane Soccer Cards, Bayern Munich Leroy Sane joined the world of elite soccer at age 18 and has never looked back. In the process, he’s become one of the signature German players of his generation. Sane’s athleticism is no surprise. His father was a pro soccer player and his mother an Olympic bronze medal-winning rhythmic gymnast for Germany in 1984. But Sane’s creativity is something that he has had to build on his own throughout his decorated career.

Starting in youth soccer at age five for SG Wattenscheid 09, Sane moved on to the Schalke youth system. His success there led to him joining the main squad in the Bundesliga in 2014. Nevertheless, after three years of thin playing time, Sane moved on. He went to Manchester City in 2016 for a base fee of 37 million pounds.

With production still steadily climbing as it had been for years, Sane made the consequential decision to have nasal corrective surgery to restore his full breathing capacity before the 2017-18 season. The ensuing spike in production marked that choice as the before-after point in Sane’s career: 10 points and 15 assists in 32 games. This also began the era of big winning for Sane: two Premier League Titles, an FA Cup and three EFL Cups.

As if that wasn’t enough, two DFL-Supercup wins have materialized, along with a UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. Sane was also a part of the 2017 German team that won the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.

In demand yet again by Premier League clubs, Sane’s exciting brand of goal scoring and playmaking only continues to improve, with eight goals and 11 assists in 20 games this season. The next powerful legacy franchise that employs Sane will add a turbo charge to their offense. Sane continues to build his name on a global basis.

Sane’s first cards and stickers date back to 2015. A variety are represented, from Topps to Donruss to Panini and Futera. He can be found in Match Attax, Topps Premier Club Gold and Platinum, Topps English Premier League Stickers, and National Treasures, among others. A wide host of notable memorabilia is on the market, including Funko figures, jerseys, and framed photos, some autographed.
