Future Watch: Chase Claypool Football Cards, Pittsburgh Steelers – Chase Claypool
was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 49th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The 6’4″, 238-pound wide receiver hails from Abbotsford, British Columbia.

He set some school receiving records at Abbotsford Secondary School and that caught the eye of some universities and he decided on Notre Dame.

Claypool played in 12 games as a true freshman. That’s impressive considering Notre Dame has a lot of options with players. He played on special teams that season and led the Fighting Irish in tackles. That’s how you get more playing time.

In his four years at Notre Dame, the wide receiver played in 50 games, securing 166 balls for 2,619 yards and 23 touchdowns, including 13 conversions in his draft year.

This guy was the talk of the NFL Combine. He ran a 4.42 in the 40-yard dash! His vertical was 40.5″, his long jump was 126”, and he did 19 reps on the bench press which was set at 225 pounds, all terrific results. Many believe the Combine elevated his draft status. With all that said, everyone thinks the Steelers made a wise selection.

Collectors can find his rookie cards in 2020 football card products, including Score, Spectra, Panini Prizm, Contenders, and Leaf Flash Football to name a few.

As we inch towards the NFL season, Claypool is being talked about as a possible starter and necessary tool for the aging Ben Roethlisberger.

Here’s a look at Chase Claypool in action:

He can go up and get a ball, he can catch a short pass and become a wrecking ball in the open field. Is he the steal of the draft? Don’t wait to find out. As a collector, you can get ahead of the field this before that possibly happens.
