Future Watch: Sebastiano Esposito Soccer Cards, Inter Milan – Sometimes players can get a little lost in the shuffle of massive clubs around the world, especially when they go out on loan to get playing time. One such player on the books at Italian giant Inter Milan is Sebastiano Esposito.
Esposito is a talented forward who has been mentioned in multiple media reports as a possible loan target from other clubs in Serie A for the upcoming 2020-21 season. While minutes at Inter might be difficult to come by for Esposito, and a loan might well be the right move for the 18-year old, we should all keep a close eye on this talented player.
In terms of those talents, Esposito has plenty. He is a forward who looks for his teammates to get them involved in the attack. He plays very well with his back to goal and his hold up play is solid. His first touch and one touch game are very good. He has a smoothness on the football that cannot be taught. The ball goes where he wants it to go in tight spaces.
Though he is unselfish and a good teammate up front, he is not shy about going for goal if given the opportunity. He has good size and speed and reads the game well for a young player. If he does end up on loan and can get games and quality service, Esposito could have a productive season.
Esposito was part of the first team last season and made his Champions League debut for the Nerazzurri in late October of 2019. Just three days later, he debuted in Serie A. He got his first goal for the club in league play from the penalty spot against Genoa in December.
As a youth player for the Italian Under-17 team, Esposito helped them to a European Championship final. He scored four times in six matches in that competition.
