Panini Redemption Report – 2-19-21 – Casting a wide net! – This week’s report from Panini America has 8 pages of redemption news! It features redemptions from across the landscape – Baseball, Basketball, Football and Hockey with cards coming back from as far back as 2011!
We’ll start this week’s review with Baseball, where numerous out-standing cards from 2020 products are now in house. Shogo Akiyama, Dillon Tate and Tim Lopes clocked in with cards from 2020 Prizm and various stars – including the legendary Reggie Jackson and young star Nolan Arenado – sent in their Immaculate Collection pieces.
Shifting focus from the diamond to the ice, Hockey fulfillments from yesteryear continued. Dylan Olsen, Emerson Etem and Gabriel Landeskog were among the returns this week as Panini continues to address stock from their tenure producing NHL/PA-licensed cards.
Over in Basketball, the biggest returner was KZ Okpala. The Miami Heat standout brought in a bucket full of cards owed from 2019-20 sets including Contenders Optic and Opulence. 2019-20 Immaculate was also a big return spot with multiple athletes, including Paul Pierce, fulfilling obligations. Kyrie Irving also checked in with cards from 15 inserts and parallels from 2019-20 NBA Contenders.
Finally, in Football, Chase Young has sent in some of his most in-demand cards. 2020 National Treasures NFL and 2020 Immaculate Collegiate have arrived from the Washington Football Team standout. 2020 Immaculate Collegiate also saw big cards come back from Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
