Ronda Rousey Continues to Transcend Sport, Hosts SNL – Few athletes in the history of modern pop culture have been able to transcend the playing field to reach genuine status at a pop culture icon. Ronda Rousey may be the latest. This Saturday night, January 23rd, 2016, she will join a short list of high profile celebrity athletes that have hosted one of TV’s most popular and influential shows, Saturday Night Live.

Rousey joins Michael Jordan, Peyton Manning, Derek Jeter, Charles Barkley and Jeff Gordon as other athletes to hold the prestigious position of playing host to America’s favorite sketch comedy show.
