  • The National Hobby Shop Day Facebook and Twitter accounts have posted a list of participating stores and has been shared via the GTS Distribution and GoGTSLive accounts
  • Beckett and Sports Collectors Daily each posted articles with links to a list of stores. Cardboard Connection will be posting one this week as well
  • FatPacks/Beckett Radio Podcast interviewed GTS Distribution’s Director of Marketing, Rob Bertrand, and directed listeners to where to find the list of participating stores on their November 29th episode
  • GoGTSLive -The Hobby’s Web Show, interviewed one participant, Mike Fruitman of Mike’s Stadium Sportscards, on their November 29th show. He share what he will be doing and provided ideas for other shop owners to follow.

    • Make sure everyone that comes through your door this week comes back on Saturday by starting one of the sales promotions below today.
  • Advertising and Promotion
    • You should have already been using the materials provided by GTS Distribution. You can copy more point of sale flyers if needed
    • Advertise in your local paper
    • Run a Facebook ad campaign this week for $25, targeted to people in your area with an interest in sports. The ability to geographically target Facebook ads, and add specific interests makes this a really great opportunity to get in front of existing and new customers
    • Send an eBlast to your customer list
    • Post your event on your own Facebook page as well as the National Hobby Shop Day page
    • Use the official hashtags on Twitter #NHSD #2018NHSD #NationalHobbyShopDay
    • Invite your local media to come to the store
  • Create Community
    • Create community and host an in-store pizza party with the $100 credit provided to you by GTS. (Be sure to save and submit your receipts to receive credit.)
    • Take pictures of your in-store event and share them on social media, especially on the National Hobby Shop Day Facebook page
