Soccer Future Watch: Harvey Elliott Soccer Cards, Liverpool FC – Harvey Elliott is a boyhood Liverpool fan and got his dream move back in 2019. Having grown up around London, Elliott joined QPR at a young age and was quickly recognised as an outstanding talent.
As he quickly progressed through the youth teams, Fulham signed Elliott. He made his first Premier League appearance at the back end of the 2018/19 season, at just 16 years and 30 days old! This was a record until recently being beaten by Ethan Nwaneri for Arsenal.
Liverpool have long been admired alongside several top clubs, and it was obvious the player wanted to join his boyhood club. They completed his transfer to Liverpool in 2019 for an initial £1.5 million.
A successful loan spell at Blackburn in the 2020/21 season elevated the excitement of the talented youngster who was nominated for Young Player of the Season Award.
Elliott started the 2021/22 season excellently in the Premier League. Unfortunately, he had a horrible injury against Leeds, dislocating his ankle and keeping him out of action for around 5 months.
Elliott was eased back into the team for the remainder of the season, and it was clear the 2022/23 season was a key time to make his mark on an aging Liverpool team. He has impressed so far this season and is beginning to cement his place in Klopp’s team.
A natural dribbler, with a beautiful touch, he has the passing, shooting and technical ability to get to the top and stay there. His focus now is on becoming a key starting 11 player and to improve goal contributions.
Harvey Elliott has a number of card releases for the 2021/22 season, including autograph cards and Rookie Cards in Panini releases.
This is the first year of his cards in the Liverpool jersey, apart from a 2020/21 Match Attax card. The potential iconic career surely means his cards will continue to grow in demand. It’s easy to forget he’s still 19 years old!
Personal favorites include Stadium Club Autograph cards and the Panini Prizm rookies, which seem to be some of the most popular on the secondary market. A great hold for sure.
