Future Watch: Andy Isabella Rookie Football Cards, CardinalsFuture Watch: Andy Isabella Rookie Football Cards, Cardinals – Andy Isabella was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the 62nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. The 5-9, 188-pound wide receiver isn’t a goliath, but he has speed and good hands.

In 2015, as a freshman, he was a running back. He had three rushes for 28 yards and two receptions for seven yards.

In his sophomore season, he was a wide receiver. He still had 12 rushes for 100 yards an 8.3 yards per carry average and 62 receptions for 801 yards and seven touchdowns. He had arrived.

In 2017, he had 65 catches for 1,020 yards and 10 touchdowns, he added a rushing touchdown as well. He had 901 yards from scrimmage.

He blossomed as a senior. He had 102 grabs for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns. He added another on the ground and ended up with a career-high 1,155 yards from scrimmage. He was an All-American and a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s top receiver.

At the NFL combine, he ran a 4.31 in the 40-yard dash and he had 15 reps on the bench press. He was ready and the scouts liked what they saw.

So far this season the Cardinals coaching staff is working him into the offense slowly, slower than the fans would like. In their third game, he was handed the ball once and he got five yards. He had two carries for 11 yards in their fourth game good for a 5.3 rushing average on the season. The Cardinals haven’t tapped into this guy’s talent base fully and collectors are probably waiting to see what else he can do before they’re all in.
